Tips & Tricks
- Choose soft dates – Medjool or soft seedless dates blend easily; if using dry dates, soak in warm water for 5–10 minutes.
- Roast for flavor – Lightly roast oats and nuts to enhance aroma and crunch.
- Adjust sweetness – Dates provide natural sweetness; add jaggery or honey only if you like them extra sweet.
- Binding help – If the mix feels dry, add 1–2 tsp warm ghee or peanut butter for smooth rolling.
- Texture control – Grind oats and nuts coarsely for a crunchy ladoo, or fine for a smoother one.
- Boost nutrition – Add seeds (chia, flax, pumpkin) or a scoop of protein powder for extra protein and fiber.
- Storage – Store in an airtight jar; lasts a week at room temperature or 2–3 weeks refrigerated.
