Ingredients
- 3 –4 amla medium-sized
- ½ –1 cup water adjust consistency
- 1 tsp honey or jaggery optional
- 1 pinch black salt optional
Instructions
- Wash and chop the amla into small pieces. Remove the seeds.
- Add the pieces to a blender with ½ cup water.
- Blend till smooth.
- Strain the mixture using a fine strainer or muslin cloth. (Skip straining if you like fiber more benefits)
- Add more water if needed for desired consistency.
- Add honey/jaggery and black salt only if the taste feels too sour—otherwise keep it pure for best benefits.
- Serve fresh. Avoid storing for long as Vitamin C oxidises quickly.
