Ingredients
- 1 Katori spinach (fresh or frozen, washed thoroughly)
- 1/2 cucumber (peeled and chopped)
- 1 inch ginger (peeled and grated)
- 1/2 lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 5-6 mint leaves (optional for freshness)
- 1 Katori or half glass coconut water or plain water
- 1 tsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional for added fiber)
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients:Wash spinach and mint leaves. Chop cucumber and ginger.
- Blend:Add spinach, cucumber, ginger, mint, and little water to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a bit more water.
- Add lemon juice:Once blended, add fresh lemon juice and give it a quick mix.
- Strain (optional):For a smoother texture, strain the smoothie. (But keeping the fiber is best for detox.)
- Top it up (optional):Sprinkle chia or flaxseeds on top for an extra nutrient boost.
- Serve immediately while fresh.
