Soup is a versatile and comforting dish that can be enjoyed in countless varieties. Rich in flavors, antioxidants, and micronutrients, a bowl of soup can easily make you feel full and satisfied. It's a healthy option for dinner or as a starter in lunch. Soups are helpful in weight management, curbing colds and coughs, and increasing the levels of micronutrients in the body. Today, I'm sharing the recipe for my favorite tomato soup, which is the perfect balance of health and comfort—nutrient-rich, satisfying, and wholesome.

1 Strainer
- 2 Tomatoes Medium Size
- 1/4 inch Ginger
- 2 Cloves Garlic Optional
- Handful Coriander
- 4-5 or 1/4 tsp Basil Leaves (fresh or dried) if want to make Italian Flavor
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 pinch Turmeric
- As per taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp Non-Refined Oil or Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Jaggery Powder Optional (if sweetness required)
Wash tomatoes, garlic and ginger properly. (Basil Leaves if used)
Add chopped tomatoes and little water in Pressure cooker and cook Tomatoes till 3 whistles. Let them cook for another 5 minutes till pressure releases.
Now put cooled tomatoes in mixer grinder and grind them to make puree.
In a pan with little or ghee add grates ginger garlic and Sautee them. Add turmeric, salt, black pepper.
Now add Tomato Puree to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add Jaggery if required sweet soup. (Completely Optional)
Adjust the consistency by adding water as required and boil.
At this point add chopped Basil leaves (optional). Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve hot.
